Pricing
For artworks that I paint on commission, there are no fixed prices due to varying image sizes, different motifs, and time requirements.
To give you, as a prospective client, an indication of the value of a desired commissioned work, I will explain the calculation using the artist factor:
The artist's factor
The price for a commissioned work is calculated based on
the size inside the mat, from the length (i.e. height) plus width,
multiplied the current's artist's factor between 8 and 14.
Here is the formula:
(Height + Width) x the artist's factor = price
The artist's factor increases with
the difficulty of a motif:

Artist Factor 9 Landscapes (mountains, lakes, sea, etc.)

Artist rating 10 flowers (painted with a limited color palette * )

Artist factor 11 Animal portrait (head and shoulder area)

Artist Factor 12 Portraits of People (Individual Study)

Artist Factor 13 Full Body Animal Portrait *

Artist factor 14 Multiple animal portrait * (more than 1 animal in 1 picture)

Each picture comes with a custom-sized passe-partout (not included).
Depending on the size, I charge between CHF 15 and CHF 25 for a custom-made passe-partout...
Framed prints are available upon request (not included).
A wooden picture frame costs between CHF 25 and CHF 45, depending on the size.
Price examples
Example 1:
A seascape with an inner image size of 40 x 30 cm
(40+30) = 70 (x factor) 9 = CHF 630.00
Example 2:
A flower picture with an inner image size of 24 x 24 cm
(24+24) = 48 (x factor) 10 = CHF 480.00
Example 3:
An animal portrait with an inner image size of 25 x 25 cm
(25+25) = 50 (x factor) 11 = CHF 510.00
Example 4:
An animal portrait with an inner image size of 38 x 27 cm, featuring two animals.
(38+27) = 65 (x factor) 14 = CHF 910.00
Example 5:
A portrait of a person with an inner image size of 28 x 22 cm
(28+22) = 50 (x factor) 12 = CHF 600.00
